A Showroom Designed to Expand Possibility
The vision for the new showroom centred on showcasing the full potential of Austaron Surfaces’ diverse product range. With solutions that can be applied across countless project types, it was essential not to pigeonhole their products, especially the Staron Solid Surfaces — to a single category. Often considered just a “benchtop surface” the new space shows it is more than that and the fitout has increased awareness.
Because Austaron Surfaces’ portfolio benefits both residential and commercial environments, the showroom was intentionally designed to speak to all audiences. Rather than a traditional “kitchen” showroom, the layout of this new QLD space incorporates a variety of zones — including laundry, bathroom, toilet, boardroom, office and event spaces — ensuring visitors can see the products’ relevance across every aspect of a contemporary fitout.
Showcasing Hettich Innovation Throughout
The event space proudly integrates a selection of Hettich’s most innovative hardware solutions:
- Cadro aluminium frame system with illuminated wall-mounted shelving, creating a refined architectural aesthetic in the kitchen-style zone.
- AvanTech YOU drawers, also presented as LightTower with glass inlays and LED illumination, paired with OrgaTray interior organisation solutions to elevate utensil storage.
- Magic Lighting in the meeting room, enhancing atmosphere, ambience and usability.
The standout highlight is housed within the main display space: Hettich’s FurnSpin. Almost invisible at first glance, it reveals its magic only when the hidden cabinets are opened. With a seamless 180° rotation, FurnSpin introduces effortless movement, intuitive access and an undeniable wow-factor. The golden interior detail of Organoid Natural Surfaces adds a luxury finish that beautifully complements the sophistication of the showroom.
