Volunteering

Hettich supports volunteering projects or initiatives that our employees are involved. In 2022 more than 120 employees from Hettich group worldwide entered into various projects in the Hettich Volunteering program campaign and overall received 59,500 Euros was donated.

Charity Support

We are dedicated to giving back to our community, actively supporting charities through community events, creative fundraising initiatives, and strategic sponsorships. Additionally, it is the generosity and compassion of our people that drive our mission, making a significant impact on those in need.

Last year Australia donated towards a variety of charities including:

Mama Lana’s is a not-for-profit organisation that provides assistance to the homeless and underprivileged people.

Ecologically – We care for the environment

Hettich prioritises sustainability within its core values, intertwining it with its business operations. Our global efforts include a 55% reduction in CO2 emissions from 1996 to 2019 and powering various sites with renewable energy. In Australia, Hettich has nearly completed transitioning diesel vehicles to eco-friendly Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. Committed to environmental responsibility, Hettich minimises waste in product manufacturing, inviting customers to contribute to a greener future by choosing our solutions.

ACT TODAY, THINK ABOUT TOMORROW – our sustainability strategy focuses on the main areas of social, societal and ecological responsibility combined with economic action. With our internal “live sustainable” initiative, we invite all colleagues to help shape Hettich’s sustainability management themselves. In this way, we want to establish sustainable action and thinking in all our activities.

Motor Vehicles – We have transitioned most of our vehicles to Electric and Hybrid, showcasing our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Sustainable Premises – We’ve made significant strides in sustainability across our VIC Showroom, NSW Head Office, and WA Homebase, embracing eco-conscious practices such as energy-efficient lighting, solar panels, and EV charging, reflecting our commitment to a greener future and promoting electric vehicles.
