AFCA Industry Awards 2023: Celebrating Excellence and Year-End Spirit in Design, Construction, and Cabinetry

The ACFA Industry Awards 2023 took place on the evening of Friday, September 15th, in a heartwarming celebration of excellence within the cabinet making, joinery, and furniture industry. This annually exceptional event, organised by the Australian Cabinet & Furniture Association, selected the iconic Cockle Bay Wharf as the perfect venue for the event, offering guests an iconic breathtaking view of Sydney's Darling Harbour.

The ACFA Industry Awards 2023 took place on the evening of Friday, September 15th, in a heartwarming celebration of excellence within the cabinet making, joinery, and furniture industry. This annually exceptional event, organised by the Australian Cabinet & Furniture Association, selected the iconic Cockle Bay Wharf as the perfect venue for the event, offering guests an iconic breathtaking view of Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Guests hailing from diverse corners of the industry gathered to witness the recognition of Australia’s most exceptional designs in kitchens, bathrooms, commercial spaces, and residential spaces. Hettich Australia, with immense pride and significance, served as a sponsor of the event, notably presenting the prestigious ‘Best Kitchen Design’ award, presented by Martin Gane, Hettich Australia Managing Director. The prestigious award found its deserving recipient in Paiano Design, whose Eucalyptus kitchen project, characterised by its contemporary coastal aesthetic, seamlessly blending bright whites and natural timbers, unequivocally claimed the top honour.

Paiano Design’s triumph came as no surprise, given their prior recognition as the recipient of the Best Kitchen Design award at the ACFA 2021 Awards and the esteemed title of Australian Bathroom Designer of the Year in 2022 during the KBDi Award, showing the remarkable prowess that Eliesha Keenan and her New South Wales-based studio has in the realm of interior design.

We extend our applause to Impala Kitchens and Bathrooms, recognised for their outstanding Bathroom Design, Vos Construction and Joinery for their exemplary work on the Best Commercial Project over $1 Million, and Northern Kitchens and Joinery for their remarkable Alfresco Design.

Guests of course engaged in lively conversations and connecting, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration.
