Hettich Australia Opens Sydney Experience Centre at Waterloo Design Centre

Hettich Australia has officially opened its new Sydney Experience Centre, located within the Waterloo Design Centre, strengthening the brand’s presence within Australia’s design community.

Designed as a hands-on, experience-led space, the experience centre provides architects, interior designers, cabinetmakers and builders with the opportunity to engage directly with Hettich’s latest cabinetry hardware innovations. The space demonstrates how precision engineering, intelligent functionality and considered design can enhance residential and commercial interiors across kitchens, wardrobes, living spaces and beyond.

The new experience centre marks a strategic move for Hettich Australia, moving within the Waterloo Design Centre as a new destination for premium interior brands. The space reflects Hettich’s ongoing commitment to collaboration, innovation and active participation within Sydney’s design community.

Visitors can experience the full breadth of Hettich drawer innovations, from AvanTech YOU Illumination drawer systems to the precision engineering of Actro 5D runners. The showroom also showcases the effortless movement of WingLine folding doors, the versatility of the Cadro framing system, and integrated lighting solutions, each designed to elevate how spaces look, feel and function. Hettich’s new Interior Fittings range is thoughtfully integrated throughout the cabinetry. FurnSpin is featured extensively, allowing guests to experience the unique translatory rotational movement across multiple kitchen applications.

The showroom unfolds as a series of immersive environments inspired by a residential project, including kitchen pantries, wardrobes, outdoor kitchens and alfresco spaces. Designed to inspire rather than simply display, the space encourages visitors to envision how Hettich solutions can transform their own projects.

The Sydney Experience Centre also features products and contributions from a number of valued brand collaborators, including Laminex, Cosentino, Signature Floors, ABI Interiors, Austaron Surfaces, Egger, Euro Alfresco, Fisher & Paykel, Brand Dimensions and Indetail, many of whom previously partnered with Hettich during Design Show 2025 in June.
