Han and Can – The Block 2025
KITCHENS

Han and Can’s kitchen design is a modern and elegant space defined by soft curves and a refined material palette that flows seamlessly through their home. The Dekton Taga kitchen island bench by Cosentino with a curved waterfall end creates a striking centrepiece, with curves continuing through the splashback and bulkhead, bringing a sense of softness that balances the clean lines of the contemporary joinery.
The kitchen cabinets combine our new Esme profile in Amaro Smooth with Nordic Oak interiors in the pantry cupboard, accented by Brushed Gold Bar handles. Functionality is elevated with kitchen storage inclusions such as Hettich AvanTech YOU drawers with Side Illumination, Cutlery Trays and Non-slip Mats.
Flexi LED lighting ensures the warm Nordic Oak tones are beautifully highlighted. The result is a chic and contemporary kitchen that is the heart of House 2. A notable addition is the use of Hettich’s Cadro Frame System in a gold finish for the shelving, really complimenting the light hues of the kitchen space.

WALK IN WARDROBE

While the main bedroom was defined by its bold Santiago Blue palette, Han and Can took a different approach in the adjoining walk-in wardrobe, embracing warm brown and beige tones instead. Entered through a striking arched doorway, the space exudes ultra-luxury. Dark timber cabinetry with glass-inlay drawers is elevated by subtle strip lighting along the walls, creating both ambience and functionality. Marble continues as a recurring theme, most notably showcased in the elegant handles adorning the wardrobe doors.

the KIDS BEDROOMS

Han and Can approached their kids’ bedroom reveals with confidence, delivering spaces that balanced style with a sense of fun. The first room carried an arched theme, highlighted by a cloud-inspired bedhead and subtle illumination that added warmth and atmosphere. Hardwood flooring and a more refined colour palette gave the room a sophisticated edge, while playful touches like a ball pit and nursery elements ensured it remained inviting and child-friendly.
The second bedroom took a completely different direction, bursting with colour and character. A pastel palette set the scene for a lively, uplifting atmosphere, while soft curves and arcs behind the bed created a cohesive design link to the first room. Together, the two spaces showcased Han and Can’s ability to create distinctly different looks — one calm and refined, the other vibrant and playful.
LAUNDRY, PANTRY & MUDROOM

Coming in at second place, Han & Can’s design brings together a glamorous yet functional pantry with two distinct zones for storage and food preparation. Organisation is maximised with Hettich AvanTech YOU drawers, spice trays, and non-slip mats – their square-shaped mudroom offers built-in seating and tall cabinetry — a clever storage solution that keeps everyday clutter hidden away.
